Jason Schmidt

Jason Schmidt has been creating art since childhood, however, in the past two years he has become more serious about his art making. Acrylic paints are his favorite material because he can use multiple layers and colors. Acrylics also allow him to use different textures and appearances. Jason is inspired by landscapes and architecture. He starts a piece by drawing on his canvas. A piece is finished when it resembles the photo he is working from. He likes to share his work with his family once it is complete. Jason’s favorite part of creating art is having fun and building confidence in his skills through practice.
