Planned Giving: Ways to Give

There are several ways to leave a planned gift to Donna Lexa Art Centers.  You should work with your personal attorney or financial advisor to determine which type of gift works best for your situation.  Some common ways to give include: 

-       Specific Bequests under a Will or Trust. 

-       Residue Bequests under a Will or Trust. 

-       Beneficiary Designations under Retirement Assets or Life Insurance. 

-       Designee of Stocks, Bonds or Mutual Funds. 

-       Beneficiary of Charitable Trusts. 

 The following examples are only a few possible ways to give to Donna Lexa Art Centers under your Will or Trust.  Since every individual and family situation is unique, we encourage you to contact us to discuss the structure of your generous gift.  You should also contact your personal attorney or financial advisor to assist you in drafting the appropriate documents to effectuate your planned gift.  We encourage you to share your final estate planning provisions with us to best ensure your wishes are recognized. 

 

Percentage of Residue.  

This gift provides a percentage-share of your residue (or remainder) estate or Trust.  The residue is calculated after paying all of your outstanding bills, taxes and specific gifts.

Specific Dollar Amount.  

This gift leaves a specific dollar amount to Donna Lexa Art Centers.

Restricted Gift.  

Please note, unrestricted gifts provide the most flexibility for Donna Lexa Art Centers as they allow us to apply the gift where it is needed most at that time.  If you would like to plan a restricted gift, you should start with the following language:
